  2. Bow Valley SPCA Gala: Masquerade in the Mountains

    September 30, 7:00 PM @ Coast Hotel, Canmore

    The Bow Valley SPCA hosts its annual gala fundraiser, Masquerade in the Mountains, on Friday, Sept. 30 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Coast Hotel in Canmore. All funds raised go toward the operation and management of the Carla Cummings Sojonsky Adoption Centre. Tickets are available at 123 Bow Meadows Crescent or online at www.bowvalleyspca.org

  1. Drop in Curling

    September 28, 1:00 PM - September 30, 8:30 PM

    Drop in curling is available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday this week (September 28-29-30), 1pm to 3pm, and 7pm to 8:30pm. Fee is $10 (cash only) for this special pre-season drop in event. Everyone welcome. Children under 7 years must be accompanied by an adult. Come out and learn how to curl or brush up on your techniques. Scheduled times are subject to change without notice.

    Want to play basketball but don't have anyone else to play with? Drop-in at the Banff Community High School. All levels welcome. Open to people aged 18 and over. Access to the gym is by the back door on Beaver Street.

The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre

  1. Drop-in Public Skating

    September 29, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM @ The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre

    Everyone is welcome at drop-in public skating at The Fenlands. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. No sticks, pucks, figure skating jumps or spins. International certified helmets are required to be worn by all skaters 12 and under, and are highly recommended for all skaters. Scheduled times are subject to change without notice.

    Drop-in shinny hockey. Players must be at least 18 to participate. Full hockey equipment is required.
