It’s after hours at the Cave and Basin, but Parks Canada is letting you in. Your senses awaken as lanterns cast shadows on ancient grotto walls. Mysterious sounds and voices are a reminder that others, like you, have journeyed to these thermal waters for centuries. Parks Canada will supply the lanterns; you supply the imagination. A family-friendly 40-minute program. $10.80 per person. Registration required, call 403.845.3524.

Have you ever wanted to skateboard but didn't know where to start? What kind of board to use, what kind of equipment is needed? Whether you want to learn to skate for transportation or just because you want to play in the park, our knowledgeable instructors will help answer any of your questions and teach you basic skills. This program is made possible with funding from Makadiff Sports and donations from Unlimited, Rude Boys, Darkstar, DC and Blind. Drop-ins are welcome but please register if you can at 403.762.1251.

This one hour tour will not only show you the breathtaking views that surround the golf course and hotel, but will also allow you the opportunity to see wildlife, stop to take amazing pictures and the history of the golf course.

Come to the Banff Public Library for baby and ones story time. Rhymes, finger plays and lap bounces for infants (0-24 months). Expectant parents are also invited to attend.

Everyone welcome! This includes families, parent and tots. adults and seniors. Children under 7 years must be accompanied by an adult. No sticks, no pucks, no figure skating jumps or spins. International certified helmets are required to be worn by all skaters 12 years of age and under, and are highly recommended by all skaters. Scheduled times are subject to change without notice.
