  1. Drop in – Sound Bath Meditation

    August 21, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ 101 Bear Street

    Take some time to slow down and experience a magical hour of sound and stillness. The pure sound waves that ring from the singing bowls awaken and cleanse the water in the cells of your body, clear the mind, and revitalize the spirit. The high resonance sound vibrations open, balance, clear and align the chakras and energy field within and around the body, taking you into another dimension!     Hop on your Townie bike and join our weekly Tuesday rides around town. The pace is easy (Townie bikes have one gear) and it’s a great way to get active and meet new friends. All rides start at Town Hall. No registration required.

    Pretty much the most wonderful workout ever! This calorie-burning dance fitness class combines fast and slow rhythms with a cardio workout and muscle toning benefits. You will dance to great music, with fun people and burn calories as you go. You don't have to know how to dance; all fitness levels are welcome.     The Town of Banff’s community drop-in yoga classes provide you with time to recharge and stretch your body and mind. Feel the energy as you lay your mat alongside members of your community. Our classes can be as challenging or as gentle as you want. Mats, props and instruction is provided on a drop-in basis. This traditional approach to yoga encourages proper breathing, flexibility, strength and vitality in the body while calming the mind. No class the 4th Tuesday of every month.
