Public Hearing Bylaw 420 - Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw - Cannabis and Cannabis Related Business Definitions

The purpose of Bylaw 420 would be to amend the Land Use Bylaw to clarify how uses related to the sale and distribution of cannabis and related products will be defined.

Submitting your comments
The public hearing provides an opportunity for members of the public to provide feedback to Council on the proposed bylaw. Any member of the public may submit comments to council at the public hearing, either in writing, in person or both.  

Speaking at the meeting: 
To register in advance to speak you may call 403.762.1209 up until the (business) day before the date of the hearingNotice of verbal presentations received prior to noon on Monday, February 5, 2018 will be included on the agenda. People who have registered in advance are heard first. At the meeting, you will also have the opportunity of having your name added to the list of speakers. Presentation time is limited to five minutes for each speaker.

Provide written comments: 
Digital written submissions are encouraged. Written submissions received by noon on Monday, February 5, 2018 will be included in the agenda package for the meeting. Written submissions received after this date, but before the close of the public hearing will be provided to Council at the meeting and will become part of the public record. There is also a call for written submissions at the hearing.  

  • Send written submission to municipal.clerk@banff.ca  or deliver them in person to Banff Town Hall, 110 Bear Street, Banff.

Please note that any written submissions provided to council for their consideration at the public hearing is added to the agenda in its entirety to the agenda, which is made available to the public and posted on the Town's website. Personal information should be limited.
