Off-Leash Dog Park

The 1.5 acre dog park is fully fenced with some off-street parking. Users must ensure all their dog waste is picked up and deposited in the garbage bin, even if it is hidden under a leaf. This stops the spread of disease among dogs and humans.

To lessen the disturbance on wildlife movement, Parks Canada requested the park be closed during times when wildlife is most active.

All four-legged park visitors and their guardians are asked to adhere to the posted rules:
  • Do keep your dogs on a leash when entering and exiting the park.
  • Do ensure your dogs are wearing a valid licence.
  • Do keep your dog(s) under voice and sight control at all times.
  • Do keep to a maximum of three dogs per guardian.
  • To protect all dogs, please do not bring aggressive or sick dogs, dogs in heat, and puppies under five months into the park.
  • Do keep children under 15 years old under adult supervision.
  • Do clean up after your dogs and dispose of their droppings in the waste bin.

All dog guardians are responsible for damage or injury caused by dogs under their care.
