Playground Pals (July and August only)

Playground Pals is a preschool program run by the Town of Banff for children aged 3 - 5 years, giving parents the perfect opportunity to take advantage of some time to themselves.  Our new 2012 format includes both half and full day options.

Banff Rundle Playschool

The Banff Rundle Playschool provides the opportunity for 3 and 4 year old children to interact through play.  The program focuses on the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and creative aspects of child development.  Teachers and parent volunteers guide the children through learning activities in a semi-structured program.

Bow Valley Early Child Development Coalition

The Bow Valley Early Child Coalition consists of service providers, community partners, parents and businesses committed to the creation of a child and family friendly community.

Bow Valley Parent Link

The Bow Valley Parent Link Centre is a partnership between the Town of Banff FCSS and Town of Canmore FCSS. It offers services for families with children 0-6 years of age: parent education, early childhood development and care, family support, and information and referral. Parent Link programming includes a drop-in play program, parent workshops, access to a comprehensive resource library, and structured learning activities. All Parent Link programs and services are free of charge. 

The Banff Parent Link Centre is located on the main floor of the Senior’s Centre (above the library).

Kidding Around (Young Child's Guide to the Bow Valley)

This resource booklet was supported by a special projects grant from the province of Alberta. It describes activities and services available for children ages 0 - 6. To learn more about Bow Valley libraries, childcare, playgrounds and many more please download the attached booklet.

Motoring Munchkins

Saturdays from 11a.m. – 12 noon until March 31, 2012 at Banff Elementary School. $2.00 drop in fee/child. Bring your little ones (1-3 years of age) for a fun filled unstructured hour where you can meet other parents as your toddlers “motor” around!
