Buskers
The Town of Banff welcomes buskers who would like to showcase their talent to our valued visitors and residents. If you would like to perform in Banff, you will require a Busking Permit.Permits
Busking permits are available at Banff Town Hall at 110 Bear Street, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 403.762.1200 for more information.You need to apply in person and you will be required to show picture identification. Buskers under the age of 18 will need to bring a parent or guardian along to co-sign the permit application.

General Conditions
- Buskers may perform only between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.
- Between 2 and 3 p.m., and again between 6 and 7 p.m. buskers are required to change locations.
- Buskers must display a reasonable degree of proficiency in their performances.
- Buskers do not include face painters, portrait artists, painters, crafts people, psychics or any person or artist who provides a service or produces a product.
- No amplification may be used.
- Buskers and/or their audience may not block pedestrian flow or business entrances.
- Buskers are not permitted to sell CDs or other merchandise.
