Remembrance Day
Event date: Friday, November 11, 2011, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Location: Banff Legion
Join the Banff Legion for annual Remembrance Day Parade, 10:30 a.m. at 92 Banff Avenue. The parade winds its way to Banff Elementary School for the annual Remembrance Day Service, followed by the laying of the wreath at the Banff Cenotaph at approximately 11:15.
The laying of the wreath at the Bankhead Cenotaph at 2 p.m.
Veterans and guests are invited to the Banff Legion, 92 Banff Avenue for chili and hot buttered rum. The Calgary Police Service Pipe Band will perform.
