Banff Refreshing
involved the replacement of 100-year old infrastructure and major enhancements at street level including: sidewalks that are twice as wide, twice as many crosswalks, trees and landscaping that wonderfully reflects the natural park surroundings, new lighting to enhance night sky viewing, solar paneled garbage bins that reduce garbage pick up, three times as many places to sit and enjoy the views and many more bike racks. Not to mention the subtle crosswalk details and new bronze street corner art.
