Special Thanks to our Sponsors and Partners
The annual Banff Canada Day celebrations are coordinated by the Town of Banff in partnership with Banff’s many non-profit organizations, community volunteers and businesses. An estimated 6000 to 8000 people attend festivities in Central Park with many more lining Banff Avenue to watch the late afternoon parade featuring colourful floats and world-class marching bands. The evening concert in Central Park always ends with a bang as professional fireworks illuminate Banff’s amazing mountain backdrop.
In addition to the support of dozens of event volunteers, organizers also require the financial support of Banff’s business community to supplement the annual event budget approved by Banff Town Council. It costs approximately $50,000 per year to produce this event with sponsorships and fundraising targeted at $15,000. Corporate donations are allocated towards the costs of producing the parade, contracting professional entertainers, and the provision of fireworks. If your business is interested in sponsoring a specific component of the days’ celebrations or would like to contribute to the overall production costs, please complete the attached donor card and forward your contribution to the address listed below. Sponsors and donor recognition is provided and varies in form each year.
If you or your company is interested in participating as a sponsor, please contact Community Services at 403.762.1251. Or complete and return the Sponsor Form below.
