10th Annual Celebration of Original Community Art

This annual exhibition showcases the work of a wide variety of artists living in the Bow Valley. Some are professionals, while others are amateur artists who create art for personal pleasure.

If you are a Bow Valley resident with art to share, Homegrown is an excellent opportunity to exhibit your work.

The Homegrown Art Opening Reception is March 5th. Join us for the evening as we celebrate our local art talents.  Exhibition runs from March 5 - 26, 2010. This art show offers viewers a glimpse into the work of a wide variety of artists living in the Bow Valley. 

Artwork can be viewed in the main floor of Banff Town Hall during regular business hours. (Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm).

Volunteers

The Homegrown Art Show is looking for creative and energetic volunteers to help put this exhibition together. If you have an interest in art and enjoy community events, this program is for you.

Exhibit Your Work

Applications to participate in Homegrown must be accompanied by a brief typed biography of the artist, a description of the art piece, and a $30 entrance fee. Completed applications must be received by Friday, February 19, 2010.

If your submission is accepted, deliver your artwork to Community Services, Banff Town Hall, by February 26, 2010. Your artwork must be suitably framed and wired, ready to install.
