Welcome Week
The Town of Banff BBQ is a highlight of Welcome Week
Formerly known as One Hot Summer, Welcome Week is a popular, annual info-fest for all Banff and Lake Louise area staff.
Every June, the festival draws about 2500 people together in learning, networking, and socializing.
From Parks Canada to BanffLIFE to Town Hall, Welcome Week provides staff with information that helps everyone feel connected in our spectacular mountain communities.
In 2009, Welcome Week takes place from June 15 - 19, as the event celebrates 18 years of helping Banff and Lake Louise staff to connect with Bow Valley locals, organizations, and businesses.
Highlights include:
Staff Orientation at Wild Bill's
, June 15
Upper Hot Springs Open House
, June 16
Town of Banff / Mayor's Welcome BBQ
, June 18
Familiarization Day
(free local activities!), June 19
Welcome Week is an invaluable resource, and a "must do" if you are working in Banff or Lake Louise.
Welcome Week is presented by BanffLIFE and the Town of Banff.
