to take in performances and shows in Banff.
Throughout the year, The Banff Centre, a world class professional development
institution for artists, presents public performances in classical music, jazz, opera,
drama, dance, new media, and film. There are also several smaller venues, pubs and nightclubs in Banff that offer a more casual live music experience.
During the summer, The Banff Centre stages lively outdoor productions within the remarkable mountain setting. Outdoor performances also take place in Central Park, in downtown Banff.
If film is what you crave, note that Banff has a 4-theatre cinema operating year-round. Special film events include the annual Banff Mountain Film Festival, taking place in late October/early November of each year.
