Sidewalk Seating Permits

Who is eligible?

• Eating and drinking establishments
• General retail stores whose primary function is the sale of groceries, beverages or baked goods

What are the general requirements?

• Sidewalk seating areas must be located directly next to the business with the permit and may not extend past the frontage face of the restaurant.
• A minimum sidewalk width must be maintained for pedestrians.
• Furniture needs to comply with the Sidewalk Seating/Cafe Policy and is subject to approval by the Town.
• Electric lights & outdoor heaters are not permitted.
