Sidewalk Seating Permits

Who is eligible?
- Eating and drinking establishments
- General retail stores whose primary function is the sale of groceries, beverages or baked goods
What are the general requirements?
- Sidewalk seating areas must be located directly next to the business with the permit and may not extend past the frontage face of the restaurant.
- A minimum sidewalk width must be maintained for pedestrians.
- Furniture needs to comply with the Sidewalk Seating/Cafe Policy and is subject to approval by the Town.
- Electric lights & outdoor heaters are not permitted.
