Changing Boundary
Since Incorporation, a number of policy and legislative changes have created a condensed spatial footprint for the Town of Banff. This has had the effect of creating an urban growth boundary for the Town, which means that most of Banff's future growth will come through re-development, rather than 'greenfield' development.
