  6. Banff Iiniskim Cross-Cultural Powwow

    The Buffalo Nations Luxton Museum and the Iiniskim Powwow Committee present a cross-cultural gathering of Indigenous nations and the Bow Valley community. The 2018 Banff Iiniskim Cross-Cultural Powwow will feature drumming, singing, regalia, dancing, and cultural education. Shop Indigenous handicrafts and art from the indoor market on site throughout the event. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available from the concession on site. Parking free.

    Parks Canada's theatre troupe, Mountain WIT, presents free, family-friendly shows under the big green tent. On the half-hour: Bison are Back – a 15 minute puppet show about Banff’s Bison Restoration project.
