The Banff Mountain Market will be in Central Park every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The market features local and regional vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, artwork, jewelry, apparel, beauty products, coffee, artisan foods, pottery, photography and other handcrafted goods.

You are invited to join us in celebrating Indigenous Peoples throughout the month of June at Banff Centre. Don't miss basket weaving facilitated by Cultural Advisor in Residence Lillian Rose. This 2 hour workshop uses sourced materials to make hand-woven baskets. All materials provided. Everyone is welcome. Class size is limited, early registration recommended. Participants may register online or email Public_Programs@banffcentre.ca to register for classes. Classes are offered on June 7, June 14, and June 28. The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Pool schedules are subject to change.
