The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Drop-in for at the library's BYOB (bring your own book) Cafe. Facilitated by Mojo Anderson. The cafe is held the second Monday of every month with a new theme. Feel free to bring any book that fits with that month's theme. Tea and conversation aplenty. All welcome!

Yin/Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga bringing together the benefits of passive yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. For ages 16+. No registration required. Ying/Yang Yoga is every Monday, Sept. 24 to Dec. 17 at 101 Bear Street, 7-8 p.m.
