  3. Triple P Discussion Group: Managing Fighting and Aggression

    June 6, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ 101 Bear Street (above the library)

    Are you struggling to manage your child’s aggression? Are you unsure how to manage sibling conflict? This discussion group will focus on fighting and aggression and ways to address such behaviour. Parents of children ages 2 to 6 years will learn strategies that focus on creating a consistent response, as well as proactive ways to prevent aggression before it happens.

    Children aged 0-2 are invited along with their parents, caregivers, and/or family members to participate in a half hour, drop-in program including: rhymes and rhythms, bouncing and active songs, finger plays and stories. This program promotes early language development and positive child/adult interactions.

    If you have never tried yoga and would like to get into a practice, this Try It Yoga class is for you. This gentle beginner practice is a great way to start your day and be introduced to the world of yoga The Town of Banff’s community Try It yoga classes provide you with time to recharge and stretch your body and mind. Feel the energy as you lay your mat alongside members of your community. Our classes can be as challenging or as gentle as you want. Mats, props and instruction is provided on a drop-in basis.

    Roller skating and non-stop music is our idea of a good time! Come out and roll to the tunes of the 70’s. 80’s and 90’s! We have retro wheels available for rent or bring your own inline skates. Everyone welcome! Helmets are required for children 12 and under.
