Start your day off with a pancake breakfast on Bear Street. This year the breakfast is located by the Sidewalk Art in the 100 block of Bear Street. $5 per person.

Presented by the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, decorate the sidewalks of the 100 block of Bear Street with Canada Day art.

There's free entry to the Banff Park Museum National Historic Site on Canada Day. Stop by between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the museum, on the corner of Banff Avenue and Buffalo Street.

Check out the Banff Artisan Market in Central Park on Canada Day. It has everything from handcrafted gifts to food booths.

Help the museum paint a herd of animals on Canada Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 206 Beaver Street.
July 1, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM @ Banff Avenue, from Fox Street to Buffalo Street
The annual Canada Day Parade starts at 11:30 a.m. It travels down Banff Avenue, starting at Fox Street and ending at Buffalo Street. Best views are closest to Fox Street.
July 1, 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ High school field
The High School Field becomes the Family Fun Zone on Canada Day. There are bouncy castles, storytelling, old fashioned games, and much more.
July 1, 1:30 PM - 11:00 PM @ Central Park
Central Park is the place to be for live performances on Canada Day. Afternoon performances run from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Evening performances run from 7-11 p.m., with a pyrotechnics show at 11 p.m. by the gazebo.
