Recreation and Parks Month
Recreation and Parks MonthRecreation and Parks Month is a fun and exciting way to celebrate all of the activities we love to do. Check out all these great ways to celebrate in June.

Recreation and Parks Day
Recreation and Parks month is a fun and exciting way to celebrate all of the activities you love to do with your family, friends and neighbours! Sometimes you get stuck thinking inside the box, when someone says recreation you only picture sports. What if the Town’s recreation team told you that recreation was having a water fight, reading a book, playing an instrument, or learning to knit? Recreation has a wide definition, and all parts are essential to a thriving, healthy community. Join us on Sunday, June 17 to celebrate our parks and recreation! Learn how to make bannock over an open fire, jazz up your water, enjoy some forest play, family Lacrosse, and so much more. Free.
