Words to Live By
In the 2008 Administrative Strategies document, Council requested the development of a Banff Code of Conduct. This code was to include guidelines, principles and expectations advising residents and visitors on desired behaviours in and around the community of Banff.
Focus groups were held to gain community input on a draft document.
The pivotal learning from these sessions was that participants saw this initiative as a way to share community values, and impart a sense of who and what Banff is to newcomers and visitors.
Based on this, it was ultimately named
