In an emergency, all protective services in the Town of Banff and Banff National Park can be reached by
dialing
911
.
Emergency dispatch services within Banff National Park are co-ordinated by the
Town of Banff Fire Department
. The Fire Department also co-ordinates
disaster services
within the town.
Fire emergencies
and serious road and highway accidents throughout Banff National Park and the Banff townsite are handled the Fire Department.
The Town of Banff's
law enforcement
(other than municipal bylaw enforcement) is the responsibility of the RCMP, Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Ambulance service
for the Town of Banff and Banff National Park is provided by Banff Emergency Medical Services (EMS), in conjunction with Mineral Springs Hospital.
