BHC Peyto Place

The Banff Housing Corporation (BHC) purchased ten apartment style housing units in Peyto Place (above Nesters) to provide a more diverse offering of value-priced housing in our community. Prior to introducing these units, the BHC created a public survey seeking resident input on a range of options that are being considering regarding housing types and long-term housing costs.

The Survey received strong participation. 130 residents and potential buyers  responded to a range of questions concerning the size and type of units that are most appealing, as well as general thoughts on a price restricted model and if that were considered, what annual fixed percentage increase would be appropriate.

*(Please note that several questions in the survey used “skipped logic” where a particular answer would have the participant skip a number of questions that are not relevant to them. This results in questions that do not get responses from all participants. General comments and those questions requiring comments as answers are not show on these results.)
