Bus Routes & Schedules

Banff's Roam public transit bus service runs year round, with expanded hours and routes during the summer. You'll find Roam bus stops in all of the town's frequently-visited areas and hotel locations, including Banff Avenue, Tunnel Mountain Drive all the way to the campground, the Hot Springs/Sulphur Mountain Gondola/Rimrock Resort Hotel area, and the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

You can pick up the latest printed schedules and route information just about anywhere. Head to  Banff Town Hall, the Banff Centre, Parks Canada Information Centre and administration building, hotels or on the bus for a current copy of routes, schedules and rates.

At several stops around town, you will find a GPS Real-time Information System display. These displays will tell you how long before the next bus arrives, based on up-to-the-minute GPS tracking of each bus. This service will also be available soon from your cell phone, PDA or online.
