The Town of Banff's recreation facilities offer endless opportunities to enjoy sports and recreation activities year 'round, rain, snow or shine.

In the summer, play baseball or have a picnic at the Recreation Grounds; take the kids to one of our playgrounds; practice your moves at the SkatePark; or attend a concert and enjoy the fresh air in Central Park.

In inclement weather, the fields and diamonds can be closed for safety reasons.  To check on the field and diamond status, call our Rain Line at 403.762.1235

In the winter, Banff Recreation Centre is the place to be for hockey, skating, and curling.

You can book our recreation facilites for private functions, or take part in organized activities.
