Check Rental RatesWe will be happy to tell you what the current rental rate is for each facility.
InsuranceWe require that you provide proof of insurance for any booking that involves alcohol or high-risk activities such as softball, rugby, and basketball. Our minimum requirement is $2 million in General Liability. Your insurance certificate must list both “The Town of Banff” and “Her Majesty the Queen in the Right of Canada as represented by the Parks Canada Agency” as additional insured. If your personal insurance does not meet this requirement, it is possible to purchase coverage through the Town of Banff’s insurance provider. The cost is approximately $200.00 per booking and requires at least one week advance notice.
PaymentPayment is due prior to your booking. We can take payment over the phone with either Visa or MasterCard. You can also come to Town Hall to pay (cash, cheque, credit card).
Terms of UseEach facility has Terms, or Conditions of Use, that renters are required to adhere to. A list of the Terms will be included in your booking contract.
CancellationIf you cancel with more than 5 working days notice, you will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel with less than 5 working days notice, you will lose your payment on the facility.
Community Special EventsFor information on booking facilities and equipment for public community special events, call the Facility Booking Coordinator at 403.762.1238. These bookings require at least three months advance notice.
