Banff has playgrounds that are appropriate for a range of ages and offer lots of opportunities for fun.

We Need Your Feedback

On Dec. 27 a male elk became entangled in the swings at the playground in our Recreation Grounds. Wildlife is an important part of our community and we are working closely with Parks Canada to determine what action should be taken to make sure something like this doesn't happen again.

In order to get a sense of what the community is thinking, we are asking that you answer a few quick questions. We look forward to hearing from you before March 12.

Our newest play structure, located in Central Park, offers children a climbing experience like none other.

• Rotary Park – 527 Banff Ave (structure designed for ages 2 – 5)
• Banff Elementary School – 327 Squirrel St (structure designed  for ages 5 – 12)
• Central Park – Buffalo Street at Bow Avenue (structure designed for ages 5-12) 
• Banff Recreation Grounds - Sundance Road (structure designed for ages 2 – 5)
• Birch Avenue (structure designed for ages 2 – 12)
• Park Avenue – Park Avenue (structure designed for ages 2 – 12)
• Middle Springs – Middle Springs Drive (structure designed for ages 2 – 10)
• Jasper Way (structure designed for ages 5 – 10)
