Creating masterpieces at "Monet for a Day"

Town of Banff Community Services offers courses and programs for children and youth ranging from ages 1 - 16 years. We have something for every one and every interest. For details of the classes available in the current session, see below.

Halloween Haunts (Grades 1- 4)

It’s time to get creative with ghosts and goblins.  Join Cheryl for an afternoon of scary and goulish crafts that you can put up to decorate for Halloween.

Christmas Crafts (Grades 1 - 4)

Get together with your friends and join Cheryl for an afternoon of crafting Christmas decorations to put on your tree and around your house.  It’s a festive time of year and Cheryl will keep you busy with creating fun projects to take home and show off over the holidays.

Babysitter Safety (Ages 12+)

Babysitting may be your first job. Learn how to become a qualified babysitter and develop skills in your child care, first aid safety and responsibility. (includes manual and course materials)

Monet for a Day, Acrylic Painting (Ages 10+)

Welcome to the exiting world of painting! Fun and creative atmosphere. The children will learn to create acrylic painting step by step from start to finish. These budding artist will be proud to display their final masterpiece for all to admire.
