Banff Child Care Centre

The Banff Child Care Centre is operated by the Day Care Society of Banff. We pride ourselves on offering licensed, high quality, affordable and accessible child care services for children from 12 months to six years of age in the Bow Valley.

Our facility is open year round, Monday to Friday, operating from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We believe that play is imperative during the early years of a child’s life. Children need to explore, imagine, create and discover for these experiences will help them relate to others and to the world around them.

Our goal at the Banff Child Care Centre is to provide a program that supports and encourages the unique potential that lies within each child. To achieve this, our teachers promote, guide and encourage the natural process of play in an enriched environment by preparing the environment to provide stimulating, challenging materials, experiences and equipment for children. Children then have the opportunity to direct their own activities.

We hire professional Early Childhood Educators who develop and deliver enriched programs in a warm and supportive environment. Our teachers listen, observe, support and interact to extend and enhance play. Our program allows every child to grow, develop and learn at his or her individual pace.
