Young Artists in-training Camp

Calling all artistic mess-makers! Are you a creative young artists entering grades 1 - 6 who is keen to explore and experiment, create and embrace art to its fullest? This five day intensive art camp will expose students to some valuable art skills, colour theory, art history, music, a wide variety of fun experimental projects and much more!

Intermediate Mountain Bike Camp
July 30 - Aug 3
We are excited to offer children entering grades 4 - 6 an amazing mountain biking program, where riders will improve their riding techniques with the help of our local mountain bike instructors. Calendar coming soon!
Beginner Mountain Bike Camp
Aug 7 - 10
We are proud to announce a new bike program
geared towards children entering into
grades 2-4. This program is focused on helping kids improve their cycling
skills to introduce them to trail riding in Banff.

Movie Magic Summer Film Camp
August 13 - 17
Learn the Hollywood filmmaking secrets and create your own blockbuster movies through the weeklong summer film camp Movie Magic! Designed as a hands on program for children and youth entering grades 4 -9. participants will shoot and edit an animated Claymation movie, music video and a short film with props, acting and special effects! New for this year every group will be equipped with HD cameras and laptops for editing so they can be totally involved with the entire Movie Magic process. The program will conclude with a special gala premiere awards screening for family and friends. Program Hours & Location
- Program hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. (Movie Camp until 3 p.m.) and include lunch hour supervision from 12 - 1 p.m.
- Extended Care is available from 4 - 6 p.m. and includes an afternoon snack
- The Banff Elementary School is located on 325 Squirrel Street. Please use the playground door entrance and meet in assigned classrooms. Pickup is in the classroom or gym depending on pickup time.
Parent Reminders
In order for us to make this year as enjoyable as possible for your children, we ask that you send the following with your child every day:- Hat & Sunscreen
- Nut FREE Bag Lunch & Snacks
- Day Pack & Water Bottle
- Sturdy Shoes (please no sandals)
- Rain gear & an extra warm layer
- See specific Specialty Camp information for other possible equipment.
Allergies & Policies
If your child has an allergy, please share it with us so we can all be more aware. Please review our Parent Handbook for program policy details.Fees & Registration
- Registration begins May 22nd and is done on a first come first serve basis
- Payment is due at the time of registration
- Cash, Visa, MasterCard, debit or postdated cheques may be made out to the Town of Banff
- Subsidy Information is available here
- Please review the registration policy and complete a waiver prior to registration.
- Young Artists in-training Camp: Resident fee: $175; Non-resident fee: $220
- Intermediate Mountain Bike Camp: Resident fee: $175; Non-residents fee: $220
- Beginner Mountain Bike Camp: Resident fee: $140; Non-resident fee $175
- Movie Magic Summer Film Camp: Resident fee: $195; Non-resident fee: $240
- Extended Care Fee: $20/week
