Drop off at the Operations Compound
Many residential waste items can be recycled or composted if disposed of properly. Please drop the following items off at the Town of Banff Operations Compound, 120 Hawk Avenue (in the Industrial compound). Check in at the front counter from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.- car batteries
- electronics and appliances (nominal fee applies for disposal)
- tires (rims must be removed and can be left in the metal recycling area)
- yard waste - lawn clippings, shrubs and branches
- paint
- light bulbs or fluorescent tubes
- small camp stove propane cylinders
- scrap metal
- tree limbs
- furniture
- mattresses
- Items accepted for drop-off at the Operations Compound (
