Where to Park

Street parking and municipal parking lots are free in Banff.

Time restrictions exist on most downtown parking spaces to ensure turnover. Seasonal restrictions on vehicles types in certain areas also exist.

In residential areas, vehicles must be moved within 72 hours.

Parking restrictions are strictly enforced so it is very important to check all the signs when parking.

In addition to on-street parking, the Town of Banff has four off-street parking lots with one-, three-, five- and 12-hour  limits.

Temporary Parking Changes and Restrictions

Bear Street Parkade time limit changed to five hours on top floors. 12-hour parking in Cascade Plaza.
 
Effective Monday, November 14th, the top floor of the Bear Street Parkade will be closed until December 16th.  It will stay open until Sunday January 8th, and then close again until the first part of April.  Please refer to Parking Lot Maps to find alternate parking.
