Here are the details for 2010 upcoming road closures, detours, special event closures and seasonal restrictions affecting Town of Banff streets. Dates and times provided below may change due to weather conditions and other factors.
There will be temporary alleyway closures behind the Clock Tower Mall to unload equipment into the back of the building. These closures are expected to occur from approximately 3pm March 9th, throughout the day on March 10th, and part of the day on March 11th.
Presently, Fortis Alberta is working to replace a number of power poles in the alleyway east of 552 Banff Avenue and the surrounding area.
Tuesday, February 16th the alleyway east of 552 Banff Ave will be completely closed from approximately 10am to 5pm.
Fortis is aiming to have the project completed by the middle of March. Expect intermittent lane closures and traffic disruptions to occur within the work area throughout the duration of the project.
