Refreshing Begins

March 2007 - By this time next year, Banff's downtown will be completely refreshed. The new downtown Banff will be more pedestrian friendly and enjoyable for residents and visitors. Work will proceed in 3 stages, running from March through October of 2007, plus final landscaping and asphalt work in spring 2008. The Town is investing $1 million to enhance the downtown experience for both residents and visitors while Banff refreshing is in progress. Read more...

Banff Refreshing

January 2007 - The Town's current underground infrastructure is nearly 100 years old and is nearing the end of its useful life. Banff Refreshing is a major project that will carry out downtown infrastructure improvements to better accommodate seasonal tourism demands, to enhance the visitor experience, and to improve livability for residents.
