The Town of Banff has just released its second addition of the Affordability Guide. Aimed at anyone who wants to make their money go farther, newcomers, and families, the guide will give you a glimpse at all the ways to save while living in Banff. From resource listings to money saving tips, the guide has a little something for everyone and you can pick one up at Town Hall today.

Banff Housing Corporation seeks input on price model for Peyto Place

The Banff Housing Corporation (BHC) has purchased ten apartment style housing units in Peyto Place (above Nesters) with the intent to provide a more diverse offering of value-priced housing in our community. Prior to introducing these units, the BHC is seeking resident input on a range of options they are considering regarding housing types and long-term housing costs.

Karen Percy named Vancouver 2010 community torchbearer for Banff

EPCOR now operating Town of Banff wastewater treatment plant

Banff Community Plan receives final approval

The Town of Banff has unveiled Roam, a unique new public transit experience. The Town is the first municipality in Canada to launch an all-hybrid electric transit fleet. The buses look special too; they are wrapped in authentic Banff National Park Wildlife imagery with each bus featuring a backcountry view of grizzlies, elk, goats and wolves.

Town asks residents for help getting unwanted items to landfill

In the past three years the Town of Banff spent $180,000 collecting and hauling unwanted waste left beside our neighborhood garbage bins to the Francis Cooke Landfill. This week, we are kicking off a three-month educational campaign to help eliminate this unsightly, hazardous and expensive issue.

Banff.ca exceeds goals one-year after launch
