The Banff Child Care Centre has recently announced its plans for expansion, due to a generous donation from the Hotel/Motel Association's golf tournament, and due to the Parent Link program re-locating to the Banff Seniors Centre.
The expansion will accommodate 18 new children in the daycare, bringing the total number of children attending Banff Child Care Centre to 80.
The expansion plan is set to be implemented by January 1 2007.
Although this will not address the entire waiting list in our community, it will certainly be a positive start, and very welcome news to parents on the waiting list.
