Banff Commercial Build-Out Study ( PDF - 1.2 MB): a detailed analysis of the implications of the approaching build-out of commercial space within the legislated boundaries of the Town of Banff, prepared in March 2007.

Banff Community Plan: the primary document used for managing the Town of Banff's long-range growth and change, setting out the goals, objectives and planning philosophy for our community's future.

Banff Community Satisfaction Survey: The Community Satisfaction Survey is conducted every three years to measure community satisfaction with the programs, services and facilities offered by the Town of Banff.

Town of Banff Municipal Census 2007 ( PDF - 650 kb):  the 2007 municipal census was conducted in June 2007.  It showed a 4% increase in population from 2005, with Banff now home to 8,721 people.

Town of Banff Municipal Census 2005 ( PDF - 625 kb): the municipal census of 2005 was conducted during June 2005. It found that Banff's official population is 8,352, including 6,959 permanent residents. The demographic details show that Banff has a young and active population working predominantly in the service sector.

Regional Transportation Study: 2003/2004 study that looked at traffic growth in the Bow Valley, and sought alternative methods for handling traffic volumes in ways which will provide enjoyable visitor experiences and reduced environmental impacts.

Incorporation Agreement: The federal-provincial agreement that incorporated the Town of Banff, including amendments and instruments of entrustment.
