Presently she has her own company – Catalyst Enterprises Consulting - assisting organizations with employee development and tourism related projects.
Family/Personal Interests: Karen has been married to Carsten for 20 years and has two sons, Eric and Connor, as well as a grown stepson who lives in California. Her favourite pastimes are family vacations, reading, and Scrabble.
Goals for 2009: Karen wishes to continue to enhance the residential and visitor experience in Banff. Her priorities are improving the recycling programs locally, creating a viable plan to build a new community recreational center and ongoing efforts to create and secure alternate revenues to our community.
