Planning and Development

Planning and Development develops strategies, policies, and regulations for managing the physical, cultural, social and economic growth of the town in a manner which is sensitive to the well being of the community, the natural environment and Banff National Park.

We provide services in five functional areas including:

• long range planning
• environmental management
• heritage program
• current planning - development and design review
• building inspection services
