Gift and souvenir shops are ubiquitous throughout Banff. Most tourist destinations (gondolas, hotsprings, ski areas, historic sites, museums, etc.) house their own gift & souvenir shops. As well, a selection of independently-owned shops can be found throughout Banff and Lake Louise.
Note that The Bear and the Butterfly on Banff Avenue, a gift shop that offers Canadian gifts relating to nature, supports the programs of the Friends of Banff National Park, a non-profit charity committed to increasing awareness and
appreciation of the natural and cultural heritage of
Banff National Park.
