Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission

Programs, counseling, consultation, training and prevention services, aiming to increase understanding and awareness of alcohol, tobacco, other drug-related issues, as well as problem gambling.

AIDS Bow Valley

Community outreach through prevention education, awareness, counseling, referrals and support to residents, seasonal workers and visitors who are affected by, at risk of, or infected with HIV/AIDS or STDs.

Alberta Health Care

The Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) provides basic health services and hospitalization coverage. If you are from another province, ensure that your coverage is effective in Alberta. In general, your home province covers you for three months, and you can obtain Alberta Health Care coverage after you have lived in Alberta for three months.
