This club is great if you like hiking, climbing and other similar outdoor activities. Memberships range from $21 to $120. This is the place you call if you want to book a backcountry hut. Get a few friends together, book a hut and hike in!

Hiking:
There are a variety of hiking trails in and around Banff. They vary from easy walking trails to extreme up hill hikes. There is something for everyone. Grab a “Trails in Banff” guide from the Town Hall located on 110 Bear Street.

You can go canoeing on Vermillion Lakes. Go to the Canoe docks on Bow Avenue.
Mountain Biking:
Many of the mountain bike trails have been closed but there are still a few on Tunnel Mountain and Stoney Squaw that are open. Keep informed on trail closures by getting a map from the Parks Tourism Office on Banff Avenue. There is a $2000 fine if you are caught by Parks on a closed trail!

Skateboarding:
Banff has an outdoor skate park located at the Banff Recreation Centre on Norquay Road. It is open form mid May – mid Oct. Its $6 for drop in and $45 for a seasons pass. Its 24000 square feet and houses half pipes, mini pipes and ramps. You can skateboard, in line skate and ride BMX. Come and check it out!
