Fitness
Fitness Room Orientation
This one-hour orientation is the perfect way to learn about weights and equipment if you’re nervous or hesitant about using the gym. Our certified instructor will show you how to use everything so you can work out safely and confidently.

Learn to Play Hockey
Learn the basics of hockey in a fun and friendly environment with experienced Banff Minor Hockey coaches. This is a great introductory program that covers skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting.

Full Moon Family Snowshoe
Snowshoeing is a wonderful winter family activity. Join this guided event and enjoy the light of the full moon while learning some basic snowshoeing techniques like how to go up and down hills on snowshoes and how to get up from a fall in deep snow. You will also enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by the fire in the cozy Rundle Cabin.

Hibernate, Migrate or Adapt Family Snowshoe!
In winter, animals have three choices to deal with the cold and snow: Hibernate, migrate, or adapt. On this snowshoe trip, we will look for signs of animals that have adapted to winter: tracks, scat, and food sources. You will learn about the animals that are hibernating and those that have migrated to a warmer climate.

New Moon Lantern Snowshoe
Join us by the warm fire at the Rundle Cabin and make your own lantern to take on an easy winter wonderland snowshoe. You and your family will experience snowshoeing in one of the most beautiful settings in the Rockies with a local certified guide. This trip is suitable for individuals of all levels of abilities.

Red Cross Babysitting Course
The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.

Stay Safe!
Real-world scenarios often call on children to respond to challenges. The Red Cross Stay Safe! program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth’s capacity to improve their own safety. Whether in their community or on their own, this group will be given better tools to Stay Safe! in a variety of different situations.
