Food Programs for Residents


  • Banff Food Rescue - a volunteer driven organization helping with food rescue and food security. Free and by donation. and
  • Banff Food Bank - The Food Bank provides food to individuals in need once per month, up to six times per year. Located at 455 Cougar Street, the back door of the Banff Park Church. ID and registration is required, and families must book an appointment by calling 403.762.1060. Open Tuesdays 12 – 1 p.m. Closed July & August.
  • Santa's Anonymous - (annually in December) Offering financial support to Banff and Lake Louise seniors, families, and individuals in need over the holidays.
  • Community Table - Enjoy a healthy meal and connect in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy soup, salad, fruit, tea and coffee. Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in the Catharine Robb Whyte Building, upstairs in the Pioneer Room, 101 Bear Street.
  • Soul Food - Banff Park Church seeks to meet the needs of our community physically as well as spiritually. Should you need a hot meal please email before Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. for a meal delivered on Sundays between 4 and 5 p.m.
  • Soup's On -Tuesdays, 12 – 1 p.m., Banff Park Church, 455 Cougar Street. Enjoy a free bowl of soup in the company of others.
  • Free Little Pantry at the Banff Public Library - A community supported initiative to look after each other. Take what you need, leave what you can. Learn more form the Banff Public Library
  • Bow Valley Food Alliance - Visit the Bow Valley Food Alliance for the most up-to-date food supports available Bow Valley-wide, from emergency food to low-cost and no-cost options. 

Low Cost:

  • Bow Valley Good Food Box - a monthly box of fresh produce at an affordable price. Available to all residents of regardless of income level.
  • St. George’s In the Pines Church Banff Food and Friends - (reopening in September). Every Monday evening 5-7 p.m. By donation
