Thank you for joining us for the 2023 Disaster Readiness Day, which was held Sunday, May 7, 12-4 p.m. at the Banff Train Station - Large Parking Lot

This is a showcase of all the crews, heavy equipment, trucks, and emergency services vehicles that keep the Bow Valley safe during a major emergency. You can learn how agencies are prepared to deal with disasters – wildfire, flooding, severe storms, criminal attack – and more.

Participating agencies included: Banff Fire Rescue, STARS Air Ambulance, Canmore Fire Rescue, Banff RCMP and K-Division K-9 unit, Canada Task Force 2, Banff EMS, Parks Canada Wildlife Safety, Emergency Management and Fire/Vegetation crew, Roam Transit shelter/evac. e-bus, ATCO, FortisAlberta, AltaLink, Alpine Helicopters, Search and Rescue Alberta, and others.
