Town of Banff - Pet Connect - Help Banff Licenced Pets Return Home Try out the Town of Banff's Pet Connect map service. This service allows someone who finds a lost pet to quickly track down the owner and return the dog or cat. Pets must be wearing a Town of Banff Pet identification (ID) tag. Simply enter the pet ID number in the system and the owner's phone number will pop up.
To participate in this free service, the Town of Banff requires pet owners to agree to allow their pet's information and contact number to be posted within the Pet Connect service. If you would like to participate in the Pet Connect program, please submit an online authorization form, or stop by Town Hall to register in person.
If you are not successful with the Pet Connect tool, you can notify Bylaw Services between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on any day at 403.762.1218 and we will arrange a time to pick up the pet. If the pet is wearing a license tag, please give us the number from the tag.
When the Bylaw Services office is closed, you can call the RCMP at 403.762.2226. They will pick up the pet and take him or her to our animal shelter. We will take over care of the pet when the office opens in the morning.
