The Town of Banff welcomes buskers who would like to showcase their talent to visitors and residents. If you would like to perform in Banff, you will require a Busking Permit.
Permits
Busking permits are available at Banff Town Hall at 110 Bear Street, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 403.762.1218 for more information.
You need to apply in person and you will be required to show picture identification. Buskers under the age of 18 will need to bring a parent or guardian along to co-sign the permit application.
Fees
Busking permit fees are:
- $25 for 2 days
- $50 for 7 days
- $100 for 4 months
Locations
Busking is permitted in areas identified on the Buskers Location Map.
Busking is not permitted in the Central Park gazebo.
