Film Showing of “Food is my Teacher” and cultural pot luck Join co writers Dr Soma and Brandy Yanchyk along with Bow Valley community members featured in this documentary at a community potluck, film showing and panel discussion on Monday November 27th, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Pioneer room, Catharine Robb Whyte building, 101 Bear St, Banff (above the Banff Public Library). "Food is healing in so many ways. It heals one’s body. It heals one’s spirit. It also strengthens one’s cultural identity….But most importantly, it brings people together," Dr Tammara Soma, co-writer and co-director with award-winning Canadian filmmaker Brandy Yanchyk.
