Utility invoices mailed, deferral option continues

Utility Bills

The Town of Banff is mailing the monthly utility bill for water, sewer and waste services to properties, but account holders are reminded that payment deferrals remain in place.

People who are able to pay are encouraged to do so. However, many residents may be facing financial challenges, preventing them from being able to pay the utility.

The Town of Banff is suspending interest and penalties on late payment of utility bills until after June 30, 2020. Residents who have financial difficulty can defer their payment, without penalty or loss of service.

Residents who have set up pre-authorized utility payments may also opt out of their automatic monthly payment program. To make changes to pre-authorized utility payments, please send requests to taxes.utilities@banff.ca with your account number.

People who are unable or do not want to collect their utility bill from the Post Office can request their bill to be emailed to them. To request this service, email taxes.utilities@banff.ca.
