Council sets schedule and representation on boards and committees
Banff’s new Town Council met for their Annual Organizational Meeting on November 1, following the October 28 searing-in ceremony. This meeting is held to appoint the deputy and acting mayor for council’s term of office, and set meeting dates for 2022. The council schedule for 2022 will be posted at banff.ca/Council.
Council also appointed the mayor and councillors to Town committees, boards and commissions, assigned representatives to external governance or liaison boards. In the meeting, council appointed members of the public to Town boards and committees where vacancies existed.
