Vote Oct. 21

Election Day in Banff is Monday, October 21.

Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Banff Town Hall. There will also be an advance poll on Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Banff Town Hall.

In order to vote, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age on or before Election Day
Be a Canadian citizen
Have resided in Alberta for at least six consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day (as of April 21, 2013)
Live in Banff on Election Day
Have identification

Due to new rules for 2013, you will be required to present identification prior to voting. ID must include a Banff residential address or a Banff post office box number. A driver’s license or Alberta Identification Card will be accepted, but a passport, health care card, work ID or pay stub will not be accepted.

Election results will be posted as soon as they are verified. Check http://www.Banff.ca/ElectionResults after 8 p.m.
